
The reconstruction of the outbuilding of the Art Academy of Latvia co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is coming to its end thus allowing the Academy to start a new study year 2012/2013 and make use of brand new and modern premises. When construction and equipping works will be finished, in the house built in 1948, starting with September 2012, multi-functional study rooms will be available which will significantly ameliorate quality of the study process and create an inspiring environment for education, professional development, generation of new ideas and their implementation.
Today, on August 10, Riga City Mayor Nils Usakovs, Deputy director Andris Ameriks and Head of Property department Olegs Burovs went to Vecmilgravis to check the status of works performed during the summer in the culture palace „Ziemelblazma” and local educational establishments.
