Last weekend, athletes of MX Moduls club supported by Moduls Engineering participated in the final leg of the Latvian Motocross Championships in Cēsis. Kārlis Sabulis's overall points in two rounds brought him victory and the champion’s title in MX2 class. In team competition, MX Moduls got a very much deserved vice-champion’s title.

‘We are very happy about the wins of our athletes, and overall, the season was good for MX Moduls which concluded it with a vice-champion’s title. Their excellent performance is great motivation to continue our support. We have been supporting MX Moduls since 2010 and we value athletes’ persistence on their way to their achievements in sports,’ said Jevgeņijs Savčuks, Moduls Engineering Member of the Board.

The fifth and the final leg of the Latvian Motocross Championships took place at Ezerkalni track in Cēsis. There, K. Sabulis started as a leader and, despite his bad luck in the first run where he fell, he went on to win the MX2 champion’s title. It was a good leg for other MX Moduls athletes too with Edvards Bidzāns taking the second place and becoming MX85 class champion in addition to his MX85 champion's title in Latvian Junior Championships this year. Mairis Pumpurs who had his first start in MX125 class this year won 4th place in the Cēsis leg and took 6th place in the overall season’s ranking.

In 2014, Moduls Engineering, marking its 20th anniversary, launched a corporate social responsibility programme to be involved in sports, cultural and charity projects.
