Right before Christmas, on 23 December, a general agreement was signed between the Ministry of Education and Science and the LLC (SIA) “Moduls Engineering” regarding the purchase of CO₂ air quality meters. Preparation of information on the ordering process and conclusion of supply contracts, required for local governments and state educational institutions, is currently in progress.

Air quality meters will be provided for state and municipal institutions of general and special education, vocational educational institutions, as well as common-use premises of municipal social care centres. Deliveries of the meters will take place gradually, and the institutions will be able to enter into contracts on the installation of air quality meters during the validity period of the general agreement – by 26 February 2022.

Funding actually required for the air quality meters will be known as soon as all the institutions have placed orders within the framework of the general agreement. Currently, the indicative funding is planned in the amount of up to 4.3 million euros. Funding of the state budget in the amount of 3.7 million euros for the purchase of CO₂ air quality meters was assigned to the ministry in the summer of 2021.
