From 4 to 6 September, Kleisti Sports Centre hosted the Central European League of the World Cup in show jumping Rīga – 2020. This CSI2*-W/CSIYH1* competition is the most important equestrian event of the year in Latvia and it is its 28th time here.

‘Moduls Engineering has been supporting this event for many years and its popularity with the spectators grows year on year. We are happy that we can support this tournament and contribute to the development of Latvian show jumping, as the popularity of this event boosts the number of young riders,’ explained Kristaps Grīniņš, Moduls Engineering Member of the Board.

The Rīga stage of the Central European Word Cup zone took place over 12 courses with Grand Prix Rīga 2020 being the most important one. Thirty-one pairs started on the Grand Prix course and only four of them scored no penalty points on the main distance. In jump-off, which none of the riders completed without a penalty, Rumanian Andrea Herk with Trocadero De Jarsey took the first place with Latvia’s Laura Penele and Dundas V.D.M. in the second and Matas Petraitis with Goldcoast VDL in the third spot. Kristaps Neretnieks with J’adore Van’t Voortveld finished the race in the fifth place and Sabīne Siliņa with Fantast was ninth.

Moduls Engineering is a part of AS MN Holding and in 2020 it celebrates its 25th year in business. In that time, the company has grown from a lighting fixture retailer into one of the leading companies in the utility and electrical network sector of the construction industry.
